In early 2019, I was running a Christian clothing shop online and was looking for trendy designs that still reflected Biblical truth. I was having a difficult time finding designs that met my requirements, so I decided to purchase an iPad and Apple Pencil and begin on Procreate. After learning more about the tools on Procreate, I started a design social media account, Maddie Perry Creates, where I posted the designs I had made. This led to me starting an Etsy shop (called Maddie Perry Creates) where I sold digital downloads, specifically t-shirt designs. Family and friends began reaching out to me to create shirt designs, social media graphics, and eventually logos and websites. After a few years of my Christian clothing shop, I decided to shift gears and focus on graphic design. I found a passion for crafting unique logos that spoke to the brand and who they are. With my experience owning my own clothing brand and having to update a website, I knew the basics to web design and when asked to design a website for a family member, I took on the challenge. Now, I have an in depth understanding of the importance of branding that not only translates across your website, but flows seamlessly into your social media, advertising, print, etc. Mad Creative exists to take your ideas and create identities, because in the end, you're brand is more than just a logo.
